Abstract
The Central key economic region has many advantages for developing logistics
services to become one of the regional and international logistics centers. The paper evaluates
the current status of logistics services in this region based on five main dimensions including
planning, policies, infrastructure, market, investment attraction, science and technology, and
human resource development. The results demonstrate that the services are facing various
challenges and limitations. In addition, the industry is not commensurate with the region’s
potential, position, and role. Thereby, the paper makes recommendations on strengthening
linkages in developing logistics services in the Central key economic region.
