METHANATION OF CO2 AND THE MIXTURE OF CO + CO2 ON NICKEL BASED CATALYSTS
Abstract
Eight catalysts on the basis ofNiO with different supports, promoted by CaO, Li,O, CeO, have been obtained and studied. Their physico-chemicalcharacteristics were determined by methods of BET adsorption, XRD, pulse (hydrogen) titration,TPR and SEM. Activity of the obtained catalyst samples were investigated in the methanation of CO2, CO and their mixtures at temperatures 220°C - 300°C and mole ratios H,ICO = 100. It hasbeen found that the activity in CO, methanation increased in the following order:Ni/Si < Ni/Ti < NiCaiSi < Ni/AI+Si < Ni/AI < NiCeAI < NiCalAIDownloads
