THE TREATMENT OF W ASTEW ATER FOR SHRIMP FARMING BY INTEGRATED EQUIPMENT AEROTEN - BIOFILTER

Abstract

Wastewater for shrimp farming has relatively high contents of COD, BOD, NH4+. Tosubstantially reduce them to a level suitable for shrimp production, we have carried outtreatment of waste water for shrimp farming by integrated equipment aeroten - biofilter. Theresults received show more than 90% of COD ,BOD and approximate 80% of NH4+ have beenremoved. Treated water satisfies the requirements for shrimp production.
