Abstract

The paper focuses on assessing the current state of the system of practice and laboratory rooms at the Quang Ninh University of Industry and proposes restructuring solutions to improve the efficiency of facility utilization for training purposes. The survey results show that the university has 44 practice and laboratory rooms, but only about 65% are used regularly; many pieces of equipment are outdated, damaged, or underutilized. Based on this, the paper proposes a restructuring plan to reorganize, merge, and repurpose the rooms, reducing the total number to 28. At the same time, it aims to establish shared, centralized, and modern practice rooms. This restructuring not only helps optimize resources, save costs, and facilitate management but also enhances training quality and students’ practical skills, meeting the requirements of educational innovation and the trend of university autonomy.
