Abstract

In electrical machine design, increasing machine efficiency has always been the main topic of research. Most winding losses in a machine usually occur in the armature winding and it is necessary to reduce these losses. In the content of the article, the authors will present a study on the influence of concentric, co-mold and 1-layer winding with 2-layer winding on the losses and characteristics of asynchronous electric motors. Experiments compare the results obtained in the finite element analysis model of Ansys Maxwell software with those obtained with a 5,5kW 4-pole motor.
