STORY SHARING: A PRACTICAL TECHNIQUE FOR LESSONS OF CROSS-CULTURAL COMMUNICATION

The paper investigates the potential benefits of "story sharing” – a teaching technique applied in classes of Cross-cultural Communication at Thu Dau Mot University (TDMU). The researcher has implemented the technique in classes of English major for more than two years. After the recent courses, a questionnaire was delivered via Google Form to 140 students of English at TDMU, then data was exploited and analyzed. The results proved that the technique effectively involves students in the lessons and creates a great chance to practice the language
