ORGANIZATION AND OPERATION OF THE EDUCATION SYSTEM IN COCHINCHINA DURING FRENCH COLONIAL RULE (1861 - 1945)

Abstract

The paper presents the process of birth and operation of the system of general education and vocational training as well as the reforms of this educational system in Cochinchina under the French colonial period. Through the above presentation, we can see the outstanding characteristics of the organization and operation of the Cochinchinese educational system in the period of 1861-1945.
