THE THOUGHT OF “TU AN” (FOUR DEBTS OF GRATITUDE) IN SOME INDIGENOUS RELIGIONS IN VIETNAM’S SOUTHERN REGION

Abstract
In the late 19th century and early 20th century, there has been some indigenous religions in Southern, such as Buu Son Ky Huong, Tu An Hieu Nghia, Hieu Nghia Ta Lon Buddhism, and Hoa Hao Buddhism, with quite a large number of followers. Using the analysis of their religious principles, teachings, law…, this article aims to analyse and compare to further identify the thought of “The Four Debts of Gratitude” in each religion in the Southern region at that time.
