EXTENSIVE READING IN THE LITERATURA FOLLOWING THE EDUCATION PROGRAM 2018

Abstract

In the 2018 Literature Programme, the structure of reading activities covers all aspects: reading technique, comprehension (content and form), reading relation, comparison, connection and extensive reading. For a long time, research on teaching methods has only stopped at the aspect of reading comprehension; while reading relation, comparison, connection and extensive reading are still relatively unexplored topics for the majority of English language teachers. This article initially aims to clarify some fundamental contents pertaining to reading activities in general and extensive reading in particular.
