TRANSDISCIPLINARY IN MURALS PROJECT ON THE THEME OF KY YEN FESTIVAL AT NHUT THANH COMMUNAL HOUSE THANH HOI COMMUNE - BINH DUONG PROVINCE

Abstract

The mural paintings project conducted at the Ky Yen festival in Nhat Thanh communal house, Thanh Hoi commune, Tan Uyen city, Binh Duong province represents an instance of transdisciplinary research activity. Based on the analysis of four characteristics of transdisciplinary research theory, it is shown that the project has effectively enhanced the proactive creativity and co-participation of local authorities and individuals. It has also facilitated interactions, reduced the divide between science and society, and advanced interdisciplinary research in finding solutions to preserve and promote the cultural heritage's value.
