Ly Son island district possesses a longstanding heritage of utilizing and safeguarding the maritime and insular resources inside Vietnam's territorial waters. This tradition is exemplified by the extensive array of tangible and intangible cultural heritage present in the island district. In recent years, the Ly Son island district has been cultivating new livelihoods, encompassing services and tourism. The paper outlines the system of historical and cultural artifacts on the island and suggests a strategy for integrating tourism with the conservation of cultural values, heritage, and ecological integrity to foster socio-economic growth.
