Abstract

The Hầu Đồng ritual and the Kagura (dance) ritual are both unique cultural heritages that preserve the spiritual values and national identities of Vietnam and Japan. From analyzing the integration of these spiritual ritual performances with tourism development, employing a multidimensional approach to compare two specific cases: the Hau Dong ritual and the Kagura ritual, the article highlights the relationship between the execution of spiritual rituals and local tourism development in Japan, offering insights that Vietnam may consider.
