PRESERVING TRADITIONAL FESTIVALS OF VIETNAM IN THE CONTEXT OF GLOBALIZATION AND INTERNATIONAL INTEGRATION

Abstract

Traditional Vietnamese festivals have gained significant attention from scholars, researchers, and governmental authorities. The preservation of traditional festivals is a critical issue within the framework of globalization and international integration which significantly contributes to the preservation of Vietnamese cultural identity amid the contemporary dynamics of multidimensional cultural exchange and the phenomenon of current "flat world." This article focus on examining the characteristics and values of traditional Vietnamese festivals, assessesing the current status of their preservation, and offers recommendations for maintaining these festivals in contemporary contexts.
