IDEAS OF REFORM IN VIETNAM DURING THE LATE 19th CENTURY AND THE EARLY 20th CENTURY

Abstract

Ideology of Innovation is a prominent trend in Vietnam in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. It was formed, existed and developed from the conditions and requirements of Vietnamese history - society in the end of nineteenth century and the early twentieth century. In this paper, the author will present and analyze the general characteristics of Vietnamese socio - historical status in this period which originated the birth of reform thought and its basic contents of Ideology of Innovation such as economy, politics, culture and education, military and diplomacy.
