RESEARCH ON METHODS FOR TEACHING TRANSLATION IN UNIVERSITY

Abstract
The article is a conceptual research with synthesis and analysis of methods for teaching translation in university, aiming at providing a comprehensive picture with relevant basic issues based on the two theoretical concepts of constructivism and transmissionism in education, approaches, traditional and non-traditional methods, and learning methods applied in translation courses. Thus, the article is expected to be a useful reference resource for translation teachers in Vietnam to grasp a more realistic view of translation pedagogy so that appropriate methods are made to enhance the training quality in translation courses.
