PATIENT-CARE WORKERS AT HOSPITALS IN HO CHI MINH CITY

Abstract

In recent years, the number of patients at hospitals in Ho Chi Minh City is constantly increasing. There are many cases where patients have no one who can take care of them and they have to hire a caregiver for themselves during their inpatient treatment. This demand creates a workforce specialized in patient care at hospitals. The article initially explores the socio-demographic characteristics, work status, income and life of those who are in this special workforce.
