Abstract

The Cho Ro people are the indigenous ethnic group, long stayed concentrated in the Southeastern Vietnam. The Cho Ro people live mainly on upland economic activities and are associated with polytheism. Identifying the changes in beliefs and ritual practices of worshipping Cho Ro’s Rice God helps to better understand about the traditional cultural values of this ethnic group, thereby proposing the preservation and the sustainable development of current Cho Ro ethnical culture.
