PERCEPTIONS, ATTITUDES AND BEHAVIORS OF COMMUNITY TOWARDS RESPONSIBLE TOURISM IN KIEN HAI, KIEN GIANG

Abstract

Responsible tourism has been receiving the global attention and will be the development trend of tourism industry in the future. To develop this form of tourism effectively, it requires communities to have proper perceptions, attitudes and actions towards responsible tourism. The main purpose of this study is to analyze community perceptions, attitudes, and actions towards responsible tourism based on interviews of 123 local people in Kien Hai district, Kien Giang province, thereby proposes a number of recommendations to improve community perceptions towards responsible tourism in Kien Hai.
