Abstract
Making xa-pau (salted radish) is a traditional profession of the Chinese in general and the Chinese ethnic group in Vinh Chau, Soc Trang in particular. Nowadays, with modern techniques, the profession of making xa-pau is not eroded and still developing, bringing income to the Chinese and contributing economically to the locality.
