Abstract

In addition to helping to address the pressing issues that history presented for this a semi-feudal colonial period, renovation thought in Vietnam at the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century also had a significant impact on the nation's construction and development. Based on prior studies and documents, this article summarizes the ideas of innovators regarding the spirit of independence, self-reliance, and self-reliance; the ideology of taking the people as the root, promoting democracy, and expanding civil rights, and then analyzes the historical significance of the renovation thought of this period.
