SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF RIVER ECONOMY IN THE CONTEXT OF CLIMATE CHANGE IN CAN THO CITY

Abstract

River economy plays an important role in socio-economic development and people's daily life in the Mekong Delta and Can Tho city. However, river economy operations in Can Tho are presently being significantly impacted by climate change. From the analysis of the current status of river economic development in Can Tho city in the context of climate change from the perspective of sustainable development, the article proposes some solutions to help the river economy in Can Tho city in a sustainable manner, adapting to climate change.
