THE PROCESS OF FORMATION AND MODEL TRANSFORMATION IN XUAN LOC AGRICULTURAL COOPERATIVE - HO CHI MINH CITY (FROM 1985 TO PRESENT)

Abstract

Xuan Loc Agricultural Cooperative in District 12, Ho Chi Minh City is one of the few cooperatives with a relatively lengthy history of operation, and still continues to exist, develop and make contributions to the socioeconomic life of its members and the people of District 12. This article investigates the process of model formation and transformation in Xuan Loc Agricultural Cooperative, contributing to clarifying the successes and limitations of cooperatives in the transition process and lessons learned during the development of a “new type” agricultural cooperative model under the Cooperative Act.
