WAR LANDSCAPE IN LE MINH KHUE’S SHORT STORIES PEAK SUMMER AND TROPICAL MONSOON

Abstract

In Le Minh Khue's short story, landscape appears as an integral aspect in genuinely conveying the movement of Vietnamese social history in Le Minh Khue's short story. In short stories about war, the writer's creation of a war landscape helps to recreate reality while also reflecting the characters' inner lives and spiritual worlds extremely accurately. To clarify the above concept, the article analyses the categories: memory and experience, power and control, devastation and recovery of the war landscape produced by the writer in Peak Summer and Tropical Monsoon.
