GIONG DUA BASE RELIC, DUC HOA DISTRICT, LONG AN PROVINCE POTENTIAL FOR TOURISM DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

Historical relics are living proof of a historical period. Organizing and exploiting the system of historical relics for tourism contributes significantly to the economic development of the locality. Long An is a province with many historical relics, of which the Giong Dua historical relic is one of the historical relics that needs to be preserved and put into service for tourism. Based on empirical surveys and written documents, this article introduces the Giong Dua historical relic and establishes a connection between this relic and several other historical relics to form an experiential tourist tour itinerary inside Duc Hoa districts, thereby suggesting some proposals for tourism development in this land.
