Implementing Resolution 13-NQ/TW of the XIII Politburo on Directions of Socio-economic Development and National Defense and Security in the Mekong Delta to 2030, with a Vision to 2045 is an important task to develop the Mekong Delta region towards sustainable development, becoming a sustainable, dynamic and highly effective agricultural economic center of the country, the Asia region and the world.
In order to implement the Resolution effectively, it is imperative to incorporate concrete strategies, conduct thorough research and evaluation of available resources, identify strengths and limitations, and develop suitable policies and strategies for resource mobilisation. The paper presents solutions based on an examination and analysis of key challenges pertaining to sustainable agricultural development in the Mekong Delta, as outlined in Resolution 13-NQ/TW, and taking into account the current situation in the region. It is essential to take appropriate actions to further enhance and support the relevant policies in order to more efficiently achieve the development objectives of the Mekong Delta, as outlined in Resolution 13-NQ/TW.
