VIETNAM'S INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY STRATEGY AND SOME SUGGESTIONS FOR THE SOUTHEAST REGION IN THE CURRENT CONTEXT

Abstract

The Prime Minister of Vietnam announced the National Intellectual Property Strategy for the first time on August 22, 2019, signifying a significant advancement in the realm of intellectual property. This instrument is crucial for fostering innovation, enhancing national competitiveness, and advancing the economic, cultural, and social growth of the country. The article analyses Vietnam's national intellectual property strategy in relation to the characteristics and setting of the Southeast region. It also offers policy recommendations to assist localities in effectively implementing intellectual property strategies.
