Một số vấn đề về phát triển kinh tế biển xanh của Việt Nam

Abstract

The blue economy is a new approach to the sustainable development of ocean economy, which focuses on the effective use of ocean resources to achieve the goals of improving and securing good livelihoods, jobs, and the health of ocean ecosystems. In Vietnam, the blue economy is not only a driving force but also an important premise for economic development, guaranteeing national security and defense, international cooperation, and environmental protection. Vietnam has implemented many guidelines and policies to develop blue economy, but the achievements has not been commensurate with its potential. In particular, in the development process of blue economy in the country have arisen many issues of the lack of sustainability, which have been causing negative impacts on the ocean environment, the tapping and protection of the resources in the seas and islands, and degradation in biodiversity and aquatic resources.
