Chính sách bảo tồn di sản văn hóa ở Liên minh châu Âu và gợi mở cho Việt Nam

Abstract

Cultural heritage is considered a source for economy growth, employment generation and social cohesion, and for the maintainance of the cultural identity of the European Union (EU). Cultural heritage preservation policies in the bloc are very diverse, with the goal of protecting and bringing into play the culture values of its member states.  Given its measures to preserve cultural herigate through initives and programmes, the EU has for many years now been considered a model of harmonizing preservation and bringing into play the value of the heritage. This article summarizes cultural heritage preservation policies in the European Union and provides lessons of experience in the process of preserving heritage and bringing it into play.
