Abstract

The political and ideological education for members of the Communist Party of Vietnam in Hồ Chí Minh City’s universities and colleges has seen continuous enhancement recently. The achievement is attributed to the attention paid and instruction given by the Party Committee of the sector, coupled with the efforts of its affiliates. A variety of innovative activities have been successfully executed across the Party cells of numerous higher education institutions. However, given the current deep integration process, especially with a dynamic and highly open city like Hồ Chí Minh City, the process of political and ideological education for Party members in the city’s universities and colleges will face challenges. Based on the results achieved and the clear identification of the opportunities and challenges that the integration process brings, the article outlines several solutions aimed at further enhancing the efficiency of political and ideological education for Party members in the city.
