Abstract

Confucianism is a system of ethics, social philosophy, educational philosophy, and political philosophy initiated by Confucius and further developed by his disciples with the purpose of creating a harmonious society, where individuals act according to moral principles, fostering national peace and prosperity. This paper aims to delve into Confucian philosophy, elucidating the concept of the “Five Constants” - Benevolence, Righteousness, Propriety, Wisdom, and Fidelity, and guiding the application of Confucian principles to achieve a successful and happy life in the modern context. The analysis is primarily based on Confucius' book Analects, supplemented by insights from other research studies.
