Calculation method for gear milling when the number of teeth isa prime number on 5 types of gear hobbing machine

Abstract
Calculating the index for milling a gear with number of teeth z (which is a prime number) on a gear hobbling machine is very difficult. By choosing the number of teeth on the gear to be milled as z’(z’= z ±α), the calculation becomes simpler. To eliminate the error due to additional or subtraction amounts α, based on movement diagram of machine, make formulas of graduated chain and differential chain… So that after calculation, install a replacement gear set and mills, get the gear with number of teeth is z as designed. In production, workers will feel proactive, easy to calculate by using calculation formula tool.
