Abstract

In the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0) and the rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI), the training of mining mechanical engineers is facing a strong demand for innovation to meet the breakthroughs in science and technology. Building upon 60 years of development of the mining mechanical engineering sector at the Department of Industrial Machinery and Equipment, Faculty of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Hanoi University of Mining and Geology, this paper focuses on assessing the current state of training, analyzing existing problems, challenges, and requirements. Simultaneously, it synthesizes advanced engineering training trends worldwide, thereby proposing directions for reforming the mining mechanical engineering training program to align with Resolution 57 and the trends of modern scientific and technological development.
