Circular economy - from theory to practice

Abstract

Vietnam is currently in the process of implementing green growth models with the motto "not exchanging the environment for economic growth." The circular economy is an inevitable trend and a crucial factor determining the country's green economy and sustainable development. There are various circular economy models, each tailored to specific characteristics, with its own set of advantages, disadvantages, and application conditions. This report presents the fundamental characteristics of the circular economy from theory to practice, introduces various circular economy models, and explores the relationship between the circular economy and 4.0 technology platforms. Furthermore, it analyzes the characteristics and current status of circular economy applications in the mining industry.
