Abstract

Streptomyces are evaluated to have strong antagonistic abilities against many species of plant pathogenic fungi. Species of the Streptomyces genus are commonly applied in the creation of biological products used in the control of agricultural diseases. In this article, from 6 actinomycete strains isolated from turmeric-growing soil in Hung Yen province, the XKH6 strain was selected for its simultaneous antifungal activity against five plant pathogenic fungi:
Penicillium digitatum, Colletotrichum gloeosporioides, Aspergillus niger, Fusarium oxysporum, and Aspergillus flavus...
