Abstract

The experiment researching the effects of planting density and fertiliser amount on the growth and development of hybrid corn variety VS201 in Hanoi was conducted in the Spring and Winter seasons in 2021 with four fertiliser amount treatments, including P1: 2.0 tons of biological organic fertiliser + 140 kg N + 90 kg P2O5 + 80 kg K20/ha; P2: 2.0 tons of biological organic fertiliser + 160 kg N: 105 kg P2O5 + 90 kg K20/ha; P3: 2.0 tons of biological organic fertiliser + 180 kg N: 120 kg P2O5 + 100 kg K20/ha; P4: 22.0 tons of biological organic fertiliser + 200 kg N + 135 kg P2O5 + 110 kg K20/ha and four density treatments consisting of M1: 57,000 plants/ha (65x27 cm); M2: 62,000 plants/ha (65x25 cm); M3: 65,000 plants/ha (65x23 cm); M4: 72,000 plants/ha (65x21 cm). The two-factor experiment was designed using the split-plot method. The big plots were for the density, and the small plots were for the fertiliser treatments. Research results show that treatment 2.0 tons of biological organic fertiliser + 160 kg N + 105 kg P2O5 + 90 kg K20 and 65,000 plants/ha (65x23 cm) obtained for the hybrid corn variety VS201 to get the highest yield in Hanoi.
