Policies of scientific and technological information for scientific research and innovation in Vietnam.

Abstract

In the context of information society and knowledge economy, scientific and technological information plays an important position and is the driving force of the development of each country. Recognising the importance of scientific and technological information, many countries around the world have developed science and technology information policies based on the proposed policy framework proposed by UNESCO for the member countries. Based on an analysis of the real situation of science and technology information policies in Vietnam, the study identifies the basic foundations in building science and technology information policies for scienctific research and innovation in Vietnam and proposing some recommendations on completing these policies.
