Result of purification for the Te do rice variety of Dien Bien province

Abstract
Te do is a local rice variety planted in some districts of Dien Bien province (Tuan Giao, Muong Cha, Tua Chua…). This variety has high nutritional content, very good drought tolerance and is resistant to some major pests and diseases such as rice blasts, leaf blight, and brown planthopper. Te do is considered to have great potential in the set of varieties to be included in the agricultural production technology solutions to adapt to
climate change, and at the same time increase economic value for growers in the northern mountainous region of Vietnam.
