THE SITUATION AND SOLUTIONS TO PRESERVE THE RELICS THE CHAM TEMPLES AND TOWERS TODAY

Abstract

Cham ethnic group is one of 54 ethnic groups in the great family of ethnic groups in Vietnam, there is a long history with a rich and diverse culture. In that culture, the most prominent is the legacy of a system of temples and towers stretching along the central strip of land today. This article mentions the current situation of Cham temples and towers presently. Thereby, commenting on the current status of restoration of Cham temple monuments in recent times. Since then, issues related to the authorities carrying out the restoration affairs, researchers and from the people. The article offers some solutions to contribute to preserving the heritage of Cham temples and towers better in the future.
