EARLY MARRIAGE SITUATION OF ETHNIC MINORITY WOMEN IN THE NORTHERN MIDLANDS AND MOUNTAIN AREA

Abstract

Marriage is a long-standing tradition of ethnic minorities in the Northern Midland and Mountain area. However, early marriage when ethnic minority women have not yet developed their bodies, will greatly affect their health, spirit, jobs and lives. Early marriage of ethnic minority women in this area is concentrated mainly in the northern mountainous provinces, rural areas, families with many members living together. One of the reasons why ethnic minority women get married early is due to dropping out of school midway, knowing, making friends and having a love relationship through social networks, due to family circumstances, their concept of early marriage of each ethnic group and premarital sex and pregnancy.
