SOME ISSUES ABOUT GENDER EQUALITY FOR ETHNIC MINORITY FEMALE CADRES IN HA GIANG PROVINCE TODAY AND POSED ISSUES

Abstract

Ha Giang is a northernmost province of the country, with a total natural area of 7,945 km2, a population of over 830,000 people (2021), including 19 ethnic groups. With many ethnic groups living together, in recent years, along with the implementation of guidelines and policies of the Party and State on socio-economic development, the affairs of developing ethnic minority cadres in general and ethnic minority women cadres in particular has always been paid great attention by the Party Committee and authorities of Ha Giang province. The development of ethnic minority female cadres in Ha Giang province not only contributes to balance and harmony in the political system at all levels, but also promoting gender equality in accordance with the guidelines of the Party, policies and laws of the State at present in the province.
