THE EFFECTIVENESS OF POLICIES TO CONSERVE AND PROMOTE CULTURAL VALUES FOR ETHNIC MINORITY IN SOC TRANG PROVINCE

Abstract

With the policy of building a unified and diverse culture in Vietnam's ethnic minority community, in which priority is given to the cultural development of very few ethnic minorities, our Party and State determine to take care of socio-economic development, ensuring social security, hunger eradication and poverty reduction, preserving and promoting ethnic minority culture is both an urgent and strategic task that must be carried out persistently and long-term. As a locality with a large number of ethnic minorities living, in recent years, the Soc Trang provincial government has made many efforts in eliminating hunger and reducing poverty, ensuring social security and especially attaching importance to preserve and promote cultural values for ethnic groups, creating a diverse cultural picture, contributing to socio-economic development.
