Abstract

SOME CULTURAL FEATURES OF CẤM MOUNTAIN
Cấm Mountain (Tịnh Biên District, An Giang Province) with an altitude of 716m is the highest mountain in the Mekong Delta, and is also the top tourist attraction in An Giang Province, welcoming millions of tourists, pilgrims and visitors each year. Through generations of residents who have come here to conquer this mountain making a career, Cấm Mountain is a place associated with many legends, events, characters... has become a unique cultural phenomenon in the Southwest border area of country. This article introduces some specific features in the cultural life of the ancient and present people of Cấm Mountain.
