Abstract

Abstract: The prosecution, as a relatively recent state function, faces greater
difficulties compared to other functions of the modern Vietnamese State. In addition to
highlighting the different stages of formation and development of institutions that
undertake the function of prosecution, and tracing their historical evolution, the article
also analyzes the forms and measures that should be adopted to supervise and improve
the exercise of that power, thereby making an important contribution to building a fair,
democratic and civilised society.
