Abstract

Abstract: Criminal law is a branch of law possessing significant impact on social
life; therefore, the evaluation and measurement of the effectiveness of this law is of
urgent theoretical and practical significance. However, the effectiveness of criminal law
is a complex issue with multiple approaches; thus, priority must first be given to
clarifying and unifying fundamental theoretical issues. The article analyses key aspects
of measuring and evaluating the effectiveness of criminal law.
