Abstract

Abstract: The effectiveness of crime prevention is driven by many factors, of which
the important role belongs to the content of the issues that are the subject of
criminological research, which has been termed scientifically. The article argues and
points out the contents that demands fuller, more comprehensive, in-depth, and accurate
research as the research subjects of criminology such as the crime situation, criminal
causes and conditions, the identity of the offender, the victimology aspect in
criminology, crime prediction, crime prevention, in order to overcome the “theoretical
gaps” of criminology, contributing to developing and organizing effective
implementation of solutions to prevent crimes in our country.
