Abstract

Abstract: In 2013, India enacted the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace
(Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, establishing a robust legal framework to
protect women against sexual harassment at work. This article reviews the prevalence of
workplace harassment and the context behind the Act’s adoption in India. It also
provides analysis and commentary on legal aspects that Vietnam may consider as a
reference.
