Abstract

Abstract: The article examines the laws of the United States, the United Kingdom
and Vietnam on the determination of parties liable to compensate for damage caused by
self-driving cars. Drawing on this comparative analysis, the author proposes a number
of solutions for developing a legal framework in Vietnam to govern the identification of
parties responsible for compensation for damage arising from accidents involving selfdriving cars.
