Abstract

    Ta Phin commune is one of the attractive tourist destinatiions of Sa Pa town, Lao Cai province. Here, in addition to the beauty of the majestic mountains, the highlight that attracts domestic and foreign tourists is the tourism products associated with the traditional cultural values ​​of ethnic minority communities. In particular, tourism activities here have the effective participation and strong imprint of women through the activity "women participate in creating typical tourism products". Participating in tourism activities has helped ethnic minority women increase their income and improve their lives as well as have greatly contributed to preserving traditional cultural values ​​and promoting unique cultural values ​​to domestic and foreign tourists. However, the current conditions of tourism development also pose many challenging issues that need to be overcome for ethnic minority women: tourism development goes hand in hand with preserving cultural values, The homestay business model needs direction from local authorities, traditional handicraft products need a lot of research by artisans to create new products to meet the needs of tourists.
