Abstract

The new Literature education program and Literature Textbooks emphasize the training of reading comprehension skills of literary texts. In teaching this reading comprehension skill, the editors of Literature textbooks pay special attention to the issue of providing knowledge about genre and text type. This article focuses on examining the interpretation and presentation of terms related to the concept of story genre in three current Literature 6 textbooks. Hopefully these analyzes and surveys will be more or less helpful for a deeper understanding of the subject curriculum as well as current Literature textbooks.
