Abstract
In the context of globalization, the information explosion, and the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the demand for developing a high-quality workforce has become increasingly urgent, especially in the field of early childhood education. Preschool teachers not only play the role of transmitting knowledge but also hold a key position in shaping and developing children's personalities—the foundation of future human resources. This paper focuses on analyzing the current situation of human resource development in early childhood education at the Faculty of Education, Hanoi Metropolitan University, through various aspects: faculty members, students, training programs, teaching methods, scientific research, and training facilities. Based on this analysis, the authors propose several solutions to improve the quality of training, including: developing a faculty team that meets the specific requirements of the early childhood education sector; promoting scientific research activities and professional development; innovating training programs and teaching methods; strengthening the connection between training and professional practice; and improving student admission quality and professional training processes in early childhood education. These solutions aim to meet the demands of fundamental and comprehensive educational reform while contributing to the achievement of sustainable development goals and deeper integration into the global education system.
